Kodeo Time is built with your privacy in mind. We collect only the information necessary to provide optional feedback and manage in-app purchases.

Information Collection

Kodeo Time does not collect the information you enter into the app, such as your time entries, tasks, clients, projects, hourly rates, or other work-related information.

The app does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising.

Data Storage and Backups

Your time entries, tasks, clients, projects, hourly rates, settings, and other app data are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to or stored on servers operated by Kodeo.

Your device’s operating system may include Kodeo Time data in its normal device backup, depending on your device and backup settings. These backups are managed by your operating system provider, such as Apple or Google, and not by Kodeo.

Kodeo Time also lets you manually export a backup file. You choose where that file is saved or shared. If you store an exported backup with a third-party service, that service’s privacy policy applies.

You can also export time reports as CSV or PDF files. These exports are generated locally on your device, and you control where they are saved or shared.

Kodeo does not have access to your backups, exported reports, or time tracking data.

Feedback

Kodeo Time lets you voluntarily send feedback to Kodeo. Feedback is received by Leyro (leyro.io), the tool Kodeo uses to collect feedback and reviews for its own apps.

You can submit feedback without providing your email address, or choose to include it if you would like us to contact you.

When you submit feedback, we receive and store:

• The message you submit.
• Your email address, if you choose to provide it.
• The app version, build number, and platform (iOS or Android) the feedback was sent from.
• A random ID created for the submission, used only to avoid storing the same message twice.

As with any internet request, the feedback service can see your IP address when feedback is sent. It is used to limit abuse and is not saved as part of your feedback, but it may appear in standard server logs.

We use this information only to review feedback, respond when possible, and improve our apps. Feedback is not linked to your time entries, clients, projects, or other locally stored work data.

We keep feedback only as long as we need it for these purposes. To have your feedback deleted, contact us at support@kodeo.io and, if you gave one, mention the email address you used so we can find it.

Submitting feedback is optional and is not required to use Kodeo Time.

Third-Party Services

Feedback is received and stored by Leyro, which is hosted by Render. The servers are in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Learn more about Render’s privacy practices here.

To manage in-app purchases, Kodeo Time uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related data required to manage and verify purchases, including:

• Pseudonymous user identifier
• Purchase status
• Products purchased
• Transaction information

Kodeo does not provide RevenueCat with your time entries, tasks, clients, projects, hourly rates, or other work-related information.

Purchases are also processed by the platform through which you downloaded the app, such as Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their respective privacy policies.
